The parameters for these policies are established by Federal laws and regulations. Issues that are not addressed in this document may be governed by Federal, State and local regulations and HUD Notices, Memos and guidelines.

Beginning February 16, 2022, the Berkeley Housing Authority (BHA) accepted comments on its proposed 2022-2023 Annual Plan. Comments were submitted in writing to Celinda Aguilar-Vasquez at 1947 Center Street, Fifth Floor, Berkeley, CA 94704 or email caguilar-vasquez@cityofberkeley.info. Copies were made available to review online. Due to the pandemic, copies were not available for review at BHA's office, but were made available to anyone requesting via regular mail or email. The publication of the Draft Plan commenced a 45-day public comment that begin February 16, 2022 and ended April 1, 2022.
The Board of Commissioners of the Berkeley Housing Authority (BHA) held a Public Hearing to adopt the 2022-2023 Annual Plan on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. the hearing was held via zoom, due to the pandemic. The zoom link and call in number was posted on BHA's website.
